In order to save turtles, new restrictions have been introduced on beaches

At the beginning of the turtle nesting season, restrictions have been introduced on Antalya's Çıralı, Olimpos and Patara beaches.

Volunteers set up signs on the beaches that indicate that access to the beaches from 20.00 to sunrise is prohibited, those who do not comply with the ban, which will last until the end of September, will be fined 109 thousand 785 Turkish liras. Sea turtles such as caretta caretta and chelonia mydas are on the International Union for Conservation of Nature's (IUCN) red list of endangered species.
