SERBIA AND TURKEY TRANSITION TO MUTUAL TRAVEL ON INTERNAL PASSPORTS

The Serbian government has enacted a decree that will allow citizens of Serbia and Turkey to cross the state borders of both countries with internal identity documents. This is stated in the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic.

According to the statement, the innovation was adopted in accordance with the agreement signed by Ankara and Belgrade in order to expand ties between the two countries.

The government expressed confidence that the entry into force of the rule will contribute to the economy of both countries and will also contribute to an increase in mutual tourist flow.
