THE PROJECT “TOURİSTANBUL” RESUMES

Turkish Airlines has resumed the Touristanbul project. The project was temporarily stopped during the coronavirus epidemic and now, after almost two years, passengers can again use this airline service. Its essence is that transit passengers who are waiting for a transfer to another flight at the Istanbul airport can take a free tour of the main Turkish metropolis. The service is provided only to Turkish Airlines passengers and only to those who are waiting for another flight within 6-24 hours. Excursions are conducted by experienced guides, passengers are transported by a special bus. At the same time, they can choose one of the six cultural programs offered, such as visiting mosques, a museum, or Topkapi Palace. It is expected that by the end of the year, about 60,000 passengers of the airline will be able to use the service.
